Mounting a TP2100
Actually the canopy may be sufficient to hold it in once you mount it somehow. I am temporarily using a set of tie-wraps along with tape to hold it on.

I just ordered a carbon battery tray from http://www.mjpcarbon.com which should make things much easier and convienent.

I took some velcro squares and put on the base and the other on the tp,
one ot two velcro strips around the battery and you are good to go. Mine won't budge!

are you having to trim the canopy in the front for the battery to fit?

No trimming, the battery actually fits snug inside the frame with about a 1/2 inch short of the motor and the canopy holds it in place well!
