My first fuse idea was going to be with a caliber 30 but wasent sure if it would fit so i went with doing a Long ranger and raptor machs.
Now as for the creative side of thinking I myself think that the caliber would fit in most or the funky fuses, I saw on ebay a guy selling a Hughes 500 with shuttle machs in it and they look alot like the calibers do , any way i would like to see some fuses with the caliber in it also.

Hey I didn't ask for this fetish.!!!But I'am sure paying for it....

I removed the whole front radio box and built another one, cnc cut it out of 1/8 plywood and it holds all the same equipment except for the switch witch i mounted in the side of the body. tried to post pictures one time and no luck but have emailed them to a few people.

.
These are jjrcflyer's pics (Thanks Jim!) of his mods to the Caliber 30 . . .

If you have any other pics of the mods (hopefully without the fuse), I'll post them for you.

Hope this helps!

thank you for posting pic will send more when they are painted. In answer to servo height question, yes the standard setup as it comes out of the box is way too high to fit the fuse, you would have to cut away almost the whole top front of the fuse in order to put the caliber in stock. I dont remember the exact measurment but the mod i made drops the servos down almost an inch or so witch give you the clearance you need. and i also had to 180 all three belcranks to line everything up but it works great as you can see.

Ever thought of selling a retro servo tray kit? I mean you already did the CNC thing. I would be interested.

I just picked up a Century Schwiezer 300 fuse off ebay. Don't know how it will fit but I'll post some pics if it comes out good.
