really just letting off steam with what seams to be prob after prob with this heli of my dreams...
bought it (expensive) built it, (attention to every detail), and flew it with total care running both heli and new Hyper 50 motor in all ok so far.
I was a happy chappy for now. Until my MP2 50 quiet pipe came apart at the manifold sleeve to can joint, just great ! was told mp2s do that you know....yes but why its brand new? . Os 50 was not to happy with this exhaust away found that it runs sweet on a zimmy 50. more money down the loo..
About 12 flights later crash ! ( not my fault this time) total radio failure
no control no fail safe kicked in and the rx switch found to be in the off position when on the deck.. throttle was still reving at half stick.... anyway switched it back on .. all ok no faults found with the radio but the helis a right mess.
Did find that like on the v90 heli and past posts that the tail pitch slider brass sleeve and ball has worn away inside causing play for one and makes me think metal to metal noise causing the pcm lock out and crash maybe.. who knows, but why the hell is there wear there anyway after 12 flights from new
Parts now required over £250 worths ordered to fix this heli and JR mag are taking an age to supply.
Waiting and waiting... nearly 3 months later and still waiting for a £13.00 main mast and a £ 85.00 grp canopy and decals. to complete the order.. phone chasing its just turning into a big joke.. its going to be after christmas now..
