It lists the weight as 63g per pair. Even if that's a typo and they meant 36g, that's still on the high side. Stock blades are in the low 20s.

I just ordered a pair.
I break enough blades for me to revert back to like90 if needed

Will let you know how it goes.

These blades have been around for some time in Taiwan and rejected by all that flew them. Be prepared for a very non-responsive heli when you strap these porkers on. And I don't mean 3D when I say responsive. I mean when you command some roll and the darn thing won't go where you want it without significant lag, you will be picking up pieces. This sort of setup causes more problems for beginners than a proper set of blades and a heli that goes where you tell it to. I predict you won't like them at all.

You could get two sets of decent flying $10.00 Align woodies for the T-Rex (which bolt right up to a Zoom/Shogun) for what they are getting for these (if you are willing to toss in the extra buck)

Promissed an update on the align blades...
Not worth it - especially for beginner!

Way too heavy, way too much inertia.
Thank god I did not crash with those, but if you do, I'd expect the heli to be totalled...

Now trying the 305 TRex...

Got the 305 TRex - love them!

They barely clear the tail, but that's ok.
I did need to sand the hub down as it was preventing the blade from being screwed in the holder. Easy minute fix.
$10 very well spent!

Perf wise, I had to increase rpm a little.
Duration went down (~10 min hover with kokam 1500) & I doubt I can run the standard issue 1320mAh lipo - it gets burning hot - barely touchable.

Other than that minor problem, I am very happy!

Blade tracking was incredible. No coning as the like90 do.

What motor/battery combo are you using? It would be very hard for the 305mm to hit the TR blades. I also run the 315mm blades with success. My Axi 2208/20 barely gets warm.

The TP 1320 Gen 2 pack will have a higher C rating then the 1500 Kokams.

CC,
I think the 305mm blades weigh 14-15g each??

305mm blades are not rectangular and good for loooow rpm, maybe is better to cut the 315mm, did someone tried that?

I guess Algin is already updating the wood blades to be more efficient.

You're worried about the price of blades ? Do you know how much a pair of Zoom plastic blades cost in England ? £18.50p, thats about $34. When we buy stuff from US here, it usually costs $=£, & the £ is $1.8 at the moment. Yes we are ripped off blind by the Government & Customs & Excise for import duty & VAT. What happens is this; We order goods for lets say $100, that usually includes your state tax, the shipper declares $100 on the green Customs declaration. On arrival at Mount Pleasant sorting office in London, the C&E charge import duty, say 10%, then on top of that, they charge Value added tax @ 17.5%. The Post Office Pay this VAT for us, then charge us a similar amount for the service. So the $100 package now costs nearly £150 !, & thats on a private transaction, commercially it gets worse !! Thats better, i've had a moan, i'll be ok for the rest of the day now ! Ray
