hi guys Im not been flying that long

learned to fly arss backward really but doing fine.

ie flew it strait off figgered out landing later
yea I know, but it worked for me

thing is im starting to want alot more power
engine is an OS32
Iv been running 12% nitro so I went and got some 18%

my question is how much more power will the 18 give me
and if I add a tunned pipe what sort of power gane will it give me

the reson I asked in because if never had other RC nitro stuff went strait to RC helis

raptor v2 30
OS32 enging
NHP razor pro main blades and NHP tail blades

Not really much. 30% would be an improvement, but a 50 is in your future.

I dunno about that Al.

I went from CP 15% to CP 25% ( was going to go to 30% but 25% was $10.00 cheaper )

I noticed enough of a difference that I went from doing 2 tic tocs before she started falling out of the sky on the 15% to being able to do 7 or 8 before she would start to slightly loose altitude on the 25%

Sure, they're still a lazy tic toc, almost more like a rainbow than anything, but it's only a 30, right?

I say in the short term, you will notice a difference if you bump you're nitro content up to 25 or 30%. It will give you just a little extra to try a few more moves.

Like Al mentioned tho... the 50 size engine would be a whole lot better!

Shawn, I agree with you, as I only run 30%, but my point is, if you( dragonlord) are questioning the power of a 30, I would not advocate spending more money ( as in tuned pipe, Bellwood head, etc) on it. Spend that money on the 50 conversion, as it's a wiser use of funds.

cool thanks need new blades now lol

blooy stick came away from radio just as was flying around a tree

and it flew strait into the dam tree spent half the day looking for a ladder to get out the tree

luck realy the tree was there as no real damage done just a crack main blade and bent fly bar

even the blade grip spindels not bent at not a scratch on other that
cracked NHP razor pro blade

talk about luck could have been byeing a new raptor.
I just cant belive the dame controll sick came out of the gimbel in me hand

If you got a rd600 super check them dam skicks are not coming lose.

Agreed Al.

The money would absolutely be better spent on upgrading to a 50.

True. Most people eventually do the 50 anyway, though. But the 50 is a pig on fuel, compared to the 30. With the TT50 being the most miserly of the 50's. I put a 46 in one of my 30's, 550 bladees, could not be happier with the power. I think a 50 on 15% is still a better deal than buying more for the 30, and paying the price of 30% in R.O.B.

yea sod it ill run on 18 %for now

I all ready have NHP razzor pro carbon main blades and HNP carbon tail blades on it.

As buy the time iv brort the epoxy resing to stick the grips on and pay petrol to go get some woods a set carbons only works out £5 more
so may as well you them and they shaw fly better.

put the cash in the bank for a 90

if its still aint all spent on parts for the 30 getting rapped by spring ill go bye a 90 in the spring then.

keep 30 for praticeing silly stuff on and take it easy with the 90

well counting down

just parked the 30 in a tree after the controll stick come out in me hand from the radio

so thats
NEW
NHP carbons - £38-95
a flybar - £ 2.95
DOUBLE LINK -£ 1.50
GRIP SPINDEL -£ 4.95
prity lucky realy lucky tree was there
or id be byeing a new kit

TALK ABOUT LUCK THERE WANT A SCRATCH ON IT WHEN IT LANDED IN THE TREE.
just a bent fly bar one of the NHP carbon blads in cracked
just checked and the blade grip spindel aint bent after all

Moral of story check you dam stick aint lose if you pinch and have a RD 6000 super them bitchs can come out in you hand.
and it aint funny

still enoutgh left for 90
pluss I can afford the fule but dont want to crash a 90 to often

or never mind me wraping the raptor my mrs will wrap me
