Does anyone know where I can buy velcro strips with an adhesive back to use for attaching my battery to my heli?

I bought some a while ago for my plane....I think Radio Shack....but can't seem to find them anymore.

Maybe Staples???

Thanks,

Michael

Howdy

Try going to a fabric shop, or an upholstery supply house, they will have what you need.

I get mine at Home Depot, not sure if they are out east.

Get the heavy duty, high strength velcro if you can.

Clean the attaching point throughly with some rubbing alcohol (or similar) before mounting.

I was using heavy duty adhesive backed velcro on my Hornet battery, and the velcro joint was usually stronger than the adhesive bond. I went to JoAnn Fabrics and bought the non-adhesive velcro meant to be sewn. I super-glue this to my packs with success.

I buy mine from a foam shop. It's called Clark Foam and Rubber. I'm sure you have a place like that in the States? They also sell Velcro with adhesive on it at a material shop or craft shop. You can also make your own with heavy duty double sided tape, the kind they use to stick down carpet.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick
