Hi,

Most non HV setups use this motor, 14th pinion and a 3S2P lipo pack..... loosing some weight on your lipo (1/3 of what you have right now) might do the trick...... I think you don't want to change to a HV setup to gain power..... otherwise read the HV setup postings carefully,,,,,

The Twist-37 w/3s LiPo works best with a 15-16t pinion. If you hover a lot then use the 15t pinion. If you do mostly FFF and have good motor cooling go with the 16t pinion. With the larger pinions the motor can overheat if you hover a lot. A cooling fan would be a good addition.

Has anyone got the balls to try 4s 2p lipo on the twist 37 because i am seriously thinking about trying it because im bored of the 3s 2p setup.
Or is it motor suicide? My 3s setup (15T pinion) gives me 2000rpm and does'nt even get warm.

KC gives a HS of 2470 if you turn the Jazz down to 90% and use a 14T
Very similar to my 6S1P setup

I have a cooling fan and it stays cold.

Just keep checking yer temps

And don't let Tony anywhere near it

I tried a Twist-37 with a 4s LiPo and it does not work well at all – the Kv is just way too high. The motor had serious overheating problems and about cooked the battery as well!

I have flown a 4s2p LiPo with a Twist-33 and 14t pinion – this is a killer combination!

Ben T spindle. Can the twist33 handle the volts because on the Kontronic website it says the 33 is for volts up to 12v?
