I'm trying to replace the starter coupling on a raptor60. After taking off the two set screws, I can't seem to pull it out. I believe the set screws are the only thing that keep the coupling into the starter shaft. The picture below shows the coupling after I take off the servo housing on top of the coupling. Any idea?
Thanks in advance.

U used loctite on the grub screws yeah?

Next time use slightly less... it makes a very good glue on tight fitting metal parts...

Now the cure is to heat it, I recommend a powerful soldering iron for best results...

I have found that the factory "flat spots" were not sufficient to allow the coupling to be cleanly removed after tightening the set screws. I now always grind a deeper flat spot to alleviate this problem. If you have a small gearpuller from R/C vars that could work. I put a pair of vice-grips on and start wiggling. You could also delicately apply some heat to the coupling.

I had the same problem. Like G.Man wrote...use a bit of heat. I then held the coupling and used a punch to knock on the shaft lightly.

As charged!

Build it, fly it, crash it. Repeat as often as needed.
