So, from what I'm reading, you have to tweak the settings on your radio, to get the desired results with the sim. BUT, there's no way you could use those same settings on your heli, right? I've never had a sim of any kind, but have asked before, if one could be used to setup your radio for flight. I guess the answer is NO.

I haven't found that you could use the same settings on your radio as for the real model. You may be able to change the settings on the sim model to make the settings in your radio for the real model feel closer. But from what I have seen you can't use the sim to get close radio settings for the real model.

Personal Experiance Opinions
He Bret,

Sorry you do not appreciate personal opinions.

I say what I feel about what I have used.

I could leave out the fact that I have not personally used Reflex XTR.
But is it so devastating to you that I have chosen to mention it?

Well, I hope your frustration here can vanish in your satisfaction with what you may have first hand knowledge of yourself.

Personally, I feel that people can say what they wish. I will not blindly accept what I cannot prove for myself. That said, I will continue to love using AeroflyPro, and soon AeroflyPro Deluxe.

Have a wonderful Christmas Season.

Sincerely.

& Many happy landings.

"Sorry you do not appreciate personal opinions."

I never said that I don't appreciate personal opinions. In fact I mention what others have said in all the research I have done to make my decision in what sim I bought. I was really close to getting AFP. In fact I wasn’t going to get XTR due to some of the problems that people have had with the interface. I wanted it for heli's as I stated and XTR just has more real looking heli's than AFP. If you read as much as I have on these and other groups you will see that no one states that AFP is the best for heli's but it is the best for 3D planes. Most likely AFP fly’s heli's just fine but XTR comes out on top for heli's in the majority of the post that I have read. That is what I came up with appreciating others personal opinions.

I'm sorry that you took what I said as personal. Your opinion is really important. I hope that this clears up what you saw as a attack on you and AFP.

I have XTR and AFP. The helis fly well in AFP and when I get the Deluxe version I'll see how well they do there too. The physics in AFP aren't as realistic as XTR. The helis look comparable from a graphics standpoint but the flight realism in XTR is better because there is more adjustability in the model parameters.

AFP doesn't give you the ability to change the model parameters to the same depth as XTR unless you edit the model files themselves.

Each sim has it's strengths. You can learn a lot on either sim.

I had AFP and thought of it as a game, thats why I bought XTR.
I was asking if anyone has tried the NEW deluxe afp with photo realism.

i have AFP, waiting on deluxe coming and i too didn't like XTR. over rated imho.

AFP is let down with the lack of heli's but mines flies so much nicer than XTR when i had it. the fury, millenium, rappy 30, shuttle and 1 or 2 others are about it but the fury is good with a tiny bit of tweaking. also feels nicer than XTR. but this is where it is an individual thing.

cheers
