That is not for us to decide ;-)

In my country we are only supposed to use 35MHZ.
If you have other helicopters, you should keep the throttle at the same side...

Boy I was looking for a way to fly during the winter. The simulator dosn't do it for me as well. Anyway, I did a search and found one a little cheaper that comes with an extra set of main and tail blades.

The one that Helihobby has listed is fixed pitch.....not the same thing. They want as much for the fixed pitch they have listed as you can buy the honeybee for. The honeybee has a collective head.

I have flown mine a total of 2 hours at about 15min per charge.....The one from helihobby.com is nothing like it..It iis one of those cheap fp helis such as aerohawk,hummingbird,picolo,,,..This does have a tail motor....Which seems to be holding up fine.......If you live in the Us,,,,,,ask for mode 2 -----72 mhz,,,,,....I bought this just to play with this winter.....I have taken it to my work place and have flown it around in our warehouse....I have gotten 5 people from my work to order one.....I am not guaranting you will not run into some problems..The only problem I had was adjusting some links,,,adjusting the gyro/tail mixing...But I concider this just basic set-up as with any heli.....Any other flight reports out there....

yes please let us know, also when u flip the "3D switch" does it act like a switchless inverted mode? (i.e. idle up 2 etc) or do u have to flip the switch as you are flipping? would kind of suck if thats the case, sounds real good so far tho

I ordered it this Tuesday and I got it this Morining 12/3/2004. Unbelieveable!
For those that already own it I have a couple of questions which is not made clear in the instructions.
1. using the charger supplied with kit, how long should the lipos be connected to the charger for a full charge?
2. the 3d switch, what exactly does it do? Does it act as an Idle up or does it just reverse the controls?

only 1 min fly tome
I bought one of these and at first, the main motor was locked up due to the epoxy on the magnets. This caused the 4 in 1 controller to burn up. I got a new controller but now the heli flys great for about 1 min then can't create enough power to generate lift. If I wait about 20 seconds it will repeat this over and over. Could this be a battery problem? I was thinking maybe that as the motor gets hot, the metal expands and causes too much friction at the bushing. This doesn't seem to be the case, I flew it out side around 32 deg and it does the same thing without the motor getting too warm. I'm stumped, has anyone had a problem similar to this?

I crashed the thing and brike the main blades already. Hobbyjapan wants $20.00 for replacement. Thats 10% of the whole machine!!!
Anyone have a source for better prices within the U.S.? or replacement from some other brand?

blades
No, but i put a ding in mine that ruined the covering. After that I covered the blades with battery shrink tubing. Now the blades can take some abuse compared to how fragile they were without the covering. I don't see a change in flight performance either. If I need a new set I'll do the same before I use them.

ofcourse I crashed the thing, Blades, and two other cheap plastic parts need replacing. hobbyjapan wants $50.00 for the 3 parts. For another 150 I can get a brand new one. Never again will I touch these mini electrics....IMHO, two words....they suck.
