anyone who could make this one really should come
this is a great place to fly and learn alot of very helpful tips and tricks and the food wahooo....i had a awsome time at Mayday and the Fall Fest this year and i will be a dedicated return pilot to this....even for the beginners who need help on radio and heli setup tips, bring your heli and there will be many people there who can help out...this is all about having fun and to learn..at Mayday i thought i had my heli and radio setup right and thought it flew pretty good i was really new to furys and had just bought a new 9z radio, well i was wrong and i found my new best friend there (Scott ) he helped me right thru both the heli and radio and came out of Mayday with a world of very very helpful tips and tricks , it helped me progress even more with my flying since the heli was flying 100% better ...i only got 8 flights in at Mayday and i was there for 4 days , because well i was still scared to fly in front of peopleand i was taking in all the great tips and tricks i needed to know about .... but when i got to Fall Fest i had 32 flights in for the 3 days i was there, and even had alot of people come up to me a compliment me on how much better i was flying and that was a great feeling to have...i owe it all to going to both the Mayday and Fall Fest funflys and my new found friend Scott ...seeya there Scott....if i didnt learn all of what i did i may have given up on helis.... if you want to learn or just have fun come down to Mayday you will have a blast...

thx mike

I've heard a lot about this event. I didn't start flying helis until August of this year so it had already gone by but I plan on making a lot of them this next year.

Gary
Don't let Gary fool you. he might have only started flying helis in August. But he flies almost every day. He also flying low and inverted already. His flying skills are more advance then some season pilots who been flying for 5 years are so. dont get me wrong, he does have many dings on his birds. but he puts them back together and tries that trick again until he got it down.

Now about Mayday event. I was at the last event last Oct and had a blast. Met alot of good people and had a great time. Work permitting I will be there this year also.

Is it the weekend yet?

Anyone who is familiar with the area feel like dropping me a PM? I'm trying to convince Mrs. Sabooo that driving down from PA makes good sense, and I'll need to find some non-helicopter diversions for her. Looking for information on local attractions, things to see, places to visit, etc.

Thanks in advance!

I was going to take up Origami, but someone said the local club folded.

Well My wife travels with me and she likes the folks there and has a good time just at the field. There is gambling on the Lake. There is a higher than normal number of women there actually.

Anyone near kentucky wanting to go to this event i will have room for 1 person and heli's in my truck. Or if your in Nashville or Memphis and wanting to hitch a ride. I've decided to go, but no one around here wants to, so i'll be making the 900mile 16hour trip by myself.

Never go full retard!
