I've noticed that I can hover the H2 for a good 5 seconds and then it just veers in one direction or another. I'm using the stock swashplate and notice that there is a lot of freeplay in it. Do you think that the sloppiness in the swash could be what's causing the sudden movements? The reason I'm asking is because I'm considering getting the metal swash to alleviate the sloppiness in hopes of making the hovering more stable. Thanks!

Do you have the Bell Hiller upgrade on your HII? If not, I suggest getting it for more precise cyclic control. Also, I'm flying with a home made ball in swash mod on a stock swash plate with BH mod and weighted blades. It's rock steady in a hover. A metal swash could certainly be a nice upgrade.

So how do I make my H2 hover rock steady like a nitro without limiting it's 3D capability? Thanks!

If you have the Bell Hiller upgrade I would strongly recommend the Heavier MS Blades. This will significantly improve hover and general flight stability.

QuantumPSI,

Your problem might just be the fact that you are running the BH with the light stock blades. The weighted blades will give you the added stability in hover and take the pitchyness out of FFF. Add weight to the flybar as well (wheel collars) all the way out for stability later you can slide them in or remove them when faster cyclic is desired. Also, radio settings and linkage positions can have a lot to do with it. Try to get as much accuracy out of your system as possible. I hope this helps.

Weighted blades
I can second that, the weighted blades made it feel much better with the bell hiller upgrade...more like a hot 30 nitro now. It seems like the stock blades are not a good match with the bell hiller.
