It has probably been discussed a thousand times before, but I still cant find an answer.

One minute the tracking on my Zoom is spot on and the next flight it can be way off.

I am using standard foam blades.

No crashes or any damage to Zoom. I am baffled.

Any Ideas?

Regards

The stockers Flex and bend at the root. After a while the root of the blades start to give.

It's the blades, there's so many reports on the stock blades tracking issue. it seems like a luck thing. some people get theirs ok while others have nothing but problems

Hi Folks

I have found that if the rotor blade grips are tightend a bit too much you squash the foam blades and deform them right where it counts. This will affect your tracking ! Try to be very gentle when tightening the blades. Another problem area is the main rotor yoke T0500.003 if there is any play between the yoke and the main rotor shaft you will lose tracking too. Normaly this happens after some heavy crashes.

In your case PeterG the blades are probably the culprits .

Mark
