I am ready to advance to some 3d fluying and was at the local field yesterday and had a fdew nie guys helping me out with my pitch curves and throttle curves. I have a raptor 30 v2 with the tt39 enginr and the jr6102 radio with digital trims. They had it set up as follows
Throttle in Normal= 20,29,45,47,100
Pitch in Normal=20,28,43,80,96
In theraptor manual it says to set up as is:
Throttle curve in Normal=0,30,50,75,100
Pitch curve in Normal=18,38,55,75,94
I set it up the way the raptor manual told me and it seemed to have a really low head speed.
I set the idle up as follws:
Throttle cuvre in idle up=100,85,60,85,100
Pitch curve in idle up=0,22,46,70,90
The engine seemed like it was leaning out whe I went into idle up. I flew for 2 minutes and the heli lost most of its head speed and came crashing down. Have to replace servo and ball link but that was it.
My question is what do my throttle curves and pitch curves need to be set at so this does not happen again? Is there anybody out there with the same set up?
