Why are most of the people on RR so flippen touchy if you post youre opinions, and they might be negitive. Some of you guys go OFF. What is the flippen deal. Is this not a place to get both sides of the story or see things from a different view. I like to see different views, it gives me better ideas, on how to solve problems

lol..... i give my personal thought on here all the time... and i am attacked all the time

it's silly, but funny.

i think they've a problem with a thought that is not theirs, or a thought that a god did not give them.

aggressive suckers aren't they?
some are so aggressive. It is so much better to have some constructive discussion wether it be positive or negative as longs as it's constructive and friendly and the odd laugh or two doesn't go amiss.

Unfortunately the forum reaches all people in the hobby and due to human nature and some peoples personalities etc it sometimes gets personal and aggressive. Stupid I know but almost impossible to stop.

I aggree that it is a lot to do with personal pride and approval of the decisions a person has made regarding their hobby choices. Most people don't like being told they are wrong. I for one have just weeded out the best info I can glean from RR and added a few of my own thoughts and it has helped me to make decisions and even change something I have already done.

Then you also simply get the "tossers" of this world that nobody likes or pretends to like for fear of reprisal and are simply there to destroy what ever they can. just ignore them dude and keep posting for the good of the RR members that appreciate the forum.

Mark L,

I agree with you on everything except for the JR radio issue, I tell you what, if I ever see you down the pub me and my Futaba mates are gunna sort you out.

Make love, not war man

I've got to admit that I've had a few replies that were totally uncalled for and I think it is normally from people who don't bother to read the whole story.

Hi Rogue123
I happen to disagree, most people here on RR is very helpful, but there are a few who enjoy the noble art of starting wars. I find it a bit funny, and do not take it personal when I am beeing flamed, some of them are actually very funny people, just look at it as a part of the entertainment. When you need advice on a subject you always get it, the rest is part of the show.
just my two cents

Here is a good reason...
Opinions expressed in words lack the non-verbal aspects of communication we are accustomed to seeing when we speak face to face. Even a well written post may seem cold and cruel at times.

Sometimes I form a mental picture of a person based on how he writes; of course, it may be totally wrong. For example, the way you used "flippen" makes me think of someone with a beet red face ready to bite someones head off. It sure gets your point across!

Sorry for that. Im not beat red, actually Im a little pale, ( just woke up) I was not mad when I wrote it, I have seen post where assumption took over and not asking.

Percieved anger,,,
I think alot of it has to do with the general problem of talking on the net. You have no facial expressions to guide you on the intended remark, and not a clue( most of the time) about the persons type of humor, or lack of it. Once you say it,,,, it is in stone,,, and it takes time to renig a statement before it hurts someones feelings, or is taken the wrong way. We all kow if you have a prob with someone, or need to talk about very technical or complecated issues, it's better to have a "face-to-face" that's how we get things cleared up. Just hard to do here on the net and hopefully we all understand that and let our skin get a little thicker and be a little more tolerable of others. later,,,Mike

QUICK! ,,,can someone turn the gravity off for just a second,,,,

the other bother.... a lot of people here haven't got any bloody humour.
christ, it's only a forum. lol

i like it when i state an opinion OR a fact... then they tell me how much of a piece of shiite i am, and how terrible i fly. that one always cracks me up. i assume they are either daft or they have gone mad. either way it's a laugh..
