Ok - I'm 1/2 thru building my R90SE.
From what I've read, the flybar control arms will bind on something if I use the 3d hole (inner) as opposed to the outer hole. I haven't got there yet so I'm not sure what binds. The fix for 3d is to get the birdcage set which I think is PV0294.

My question out there to all you R90SE folks is what is the consensus on this. I'm into stick banging and I use the inner holes on my R50. I don't want to be limited by using the outer hole.

Thoughts and suggestions before I order PV0294 on Monday

Also - what else should I be ordering with it to get this ready to rock?

I use the inner holes and my role rate is equal to my fury, I don't know about the outer holes I never ran them. I also use v-paddles 90mm long. use you do have to replace the inline flybar control arm upgrade to use the inner holes as well as change to the aluminum arms or I've seen people use the plastic ones from the r 50 without changing anything , but can't tell how it flys .

In the instruction book, they say that you need the full caged flybar set in order to put it on the inner hole. This is not true.

After 15 flights on my Rappy 90 SE, with the ball links on the inner (3d) hole, I see and can feel no binding. Even after piroflips, tic tocks, etc. there is no binding. Good luck!

A attention area I posted a while back is that you need to be carefull of the threaded holes, as most I have seen needed to be cleaned out and take extra care in putting the ball screws in.

yes, use of the inner hole will require the bird cage or the levers will hit.
