I have a mp II on my fury extreme. It has a ys91 with 8.45 gear ratio.
I was thinking about getting an sb-16. Is the sb-16fh safe for the ys crank case or should I just get the regular sb-16 with rear mount for the fury.

Ron- You were there the day I put my Tempest in , if not for the 2 pc. SB-16 i would have broke the block- the muffer just poped off the "O" rings.

I don’t think that sb-16 or sb-16FH will make any different in crash, even regular sb-16 will poped off from O rings. The way is mounted with clamp will style give you play so it will poped off from O rings. The only think that I don’t like about sb-16 is every time I take pipe off I have to replace O rings but then someone told me that you can get those O ring at auto store. I have MPII and Sb-16 on YS with 8:45 and with Sb-16 the is no way you can slow engine down, is just asking you for more load. That only with 8:45, 8:36 will slow your engine down under very heavy load. Main different is sound, that SB-16 is just nice sound not like MPII where you can hear engine screams.

I have use in very good condition SB-16 not FH that I can swap for MPII if you need one.
