I see this question alot - If you are just learning to fly, you will likely not be doing full 3d - just some inverted maneuvers, loops, rolls, etc. Woodies will definately handle all that.



I was going to take up Origami, but someone said the local club folded.

Yes, if the blade roots are securely fastened. A good set of instructions relative to this is found in assembly step #45 here:

This is from a Century Hawk manual but it could be applied to any RTF woodies that use heat shrink as a covering.

i did 3d with my raptor with the stocks it works but performance is way better with my carbons.
