Hi everyone.

I notice today that the elevator control lever on my R50V2 has a very small in-out movement. No matter how much I tight the screw the lever plays in and out approximatelly 0,5 mm.

In my 70 this lever is a tight fit and there is no play at all. Can you guys tell me in your 50s is this free play as well or should I put a washer?

I am trying to remember if it was since it was new but I cannot recal.

mine had play in it. You could file a little of the metal insert that the screw goes through. You sometimes find the same on the collective arm as well.

Mine also has. It also runs against the chassis, which worries me more. But it doesn't cause too much friction so I left it as it is.

Stephen you are da man.

I file the metal insert with a Dremel just a couple of mm and now the elevator arm is tight as in my 70.

Once again thanks m8

It's not a matter of worry but of control. It was only today that I noticed that there was a couple of mm loose in the elevator moovement.

Try what Stephen proposed and I did and you will see the movemet of the servo translated directly into swashplate movement.

Your welcome

You'll find that these little bits of play add up throughout the control system.
