Just wondering what size carbon tail blades will be best for a Venture 50? Using JR super servo with CSM gyro. Also should head speed have any reflection on choice? I am currently using the stock plastic blades & find that the tail doesn't quit hold when using large pitch changes.

Yes,

I believe you're right ... head speed will influence the effectiveness of the tail.

I have an Ergo with 600 mm mains and 90 mm MAH tail blades. I find the width of these tail blades is very narrow, by comparison to the MS comps and, for this reason, they seem not as effective. But, I've yet to fly my Ergo, in this configuration, with head speeds above about 1650.

Not much help, I know ... but, at least this gives you an idea.

Anyone else ?

John
