I was just wondering if anybody managed to get the CP to loop and roll just by replacing the blades, and maybe using a higher voltage battery on the stock brushed motor.

What rpm? Does the tail hold?

Thanks.

It's easy to find an excuse to do wrong. Hard is not to find an excuse to do right.

I'm sure my brushed stock 370 retimed can do the stunts, but I have not tried it since it is my backup bird.

What blades are you using? What is the rest of your setup?

I tried looping with the wooden flat blades and it is impossible!

Yesterday I managed to hover my CP with the symmetrical wooden blades and stock motor for the first time.

I am using a three lipo cell pack and the tail could not keep up with the main rotor momentum, even using the high performance motor at the tail. The main blades are at 2000 rpm.

Finally I managed to keep the tail under control by completely hacking the setup and I plan to try stunts this coming weekend.

If I am successful I'll probably be the first to do 3D with a stock motor on the CP...
