hi

i would love to get a sim like reflew xtr, but surely, looking at the quality of the graphics, you need a super powerful computer to get it running somewhat smoothly?

what pc setups are you running?

You should have:

GF FX 5700 or higher
or Radeon 9600 or higher
P4 2.4 GHz or Athlon 1.8

You get away with (with some flicker):

a fast GF4 or GF FX 5200
have not tried a slower CPU but everything above 1GHz should be ok

I'm running a P4 2.53GHz, 1024MB RAM, 200GB hard drive and a Nvidia GeForce4 MX440 128MB. It never flickered and I get a frame rate between 90-105.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

I'm running RealFlight G2 on a Pentium-4 2.53 GHz with an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro video card, and 1024 MB of memory. I have all of the graphics setting in both the driver and the game pushed up as high as they go, and there is no skipping or flickering.

im running p4 ht 3.2 ghz, 512 ddr, with only a 5200 with 64 megs. ill get around 85 fps, it can drop around 35 40 though. i wish it was an easy upgrade for me but this is in a laptop. i should have just bought the one with the better video card. but i got the 17" wide screen, it is awesome.
