Hi,
I just purchased the Pic Pro Tail Motor for use on my Pic Eco FP, When I try and mount the motor the screws are to small in diameter and the pinion seems larger so it wont mesh into the std tail rotor gear.

What should I do here? Order another tail gear and screws from a Pic Pro? (I cant find the part numbers) Or change the pinion?

Thanks in advance

In hindsight I should have went with direct drive.

The stock Piccolo Fun motor uses an M1.4 screw.

The Piccolo Pro motor uses a M1.6 screw.

This is mentioned in the Electric helicopter Beginner's Guide (http://ehbg.rchomepage.com).

McMaster-Carr (http://www.mcmaster.com) carries both screw sizes.

Are you planning on running direct drive with that new motor? I would suggest it and if you are intersted I can sent you pics of a very inexpensive and lightweight motor mount.

DD is much more responsive.

Let me know,

Dan
