Does it have carbon frames? Is the rotorhead the SSR-IV type? Can i put the freya DTDS gears in it? Why doesnt it have these? How does it compare to the Freya EX WC ? Thanks for any comments

The Eagle does not come with DTDS, it comes with a slipper clutch for autos.

you can install the DTDS from the Freya (like i did) but you will have to use the Freya EX's bottom frames, like mine:

i also have the SSR-VI head on mine...

The only thing that flies better than your Eagle 2 WC is the Eagle 3 WC.

As for the frames for the DTDS, if your careful enough you can cut the Eagle frames to suit. Not a big job at all.

Hope it goes well for you.

Cheers

If you decide to cut the frames, You can get the measurements of Jason Chan's Website. Look under my fleet and Eagle 99WC DTDS.

Just a word of caution, that nicad does not look very secure to me, looks like it could work its way free with one tiewrap on it - one dead Eagle!, or is it just that the pic doesnt show how well you have it secured?

I3DM, guessed it was probably more secure that it looked but it's as well to be sure.

Hi Paul,

I have one Freya WC left and an Eagle 3. I am actually thinking about selling the Freya and getting something else.

Well, looks like we'll catch up at Wagga then.

Cheers

Hi Brendan , the Eagle looks great , it came from Q.L.D. It came with an o.s 91sxh , 660mm WC blades and carbon tail blades which did not survive the journey. Other than that its in exellent condition. I'm going to strip it down and rebuild it for my own pleasure and satisfaction. Cheers Paul
