Flying backwards upside down etc ie 3d= HH gyro required. Futaba 401 or CSM 560 are quite popular.
FF and FFF= normal rate gyro ok. Just make sure its setup correctly using revo mixing.

GY240 is 25g with case and GY401 is 27g which is probably the added weight of the extra wire for 401 remote gains.

CSM SL 560...help !!!
Can anybody help with connection protocol using CSM SL 560, JR R610m receiver and JR pcm10x in a Zoom:

Although there are heaps of gyro options with the Transmitter, I have a problem working out how the "gain channel" should be set up with the R601...there is only 1 spare channel on the receiver...the Gear.
Does this mean that the gear switch will be the Gyro gain channel...mode 1 and 2 on the TX gear switch??...or have I lost he plot somewhere....???

on the SL560
The gain cable from the gyro goes into channel 5 (gear) the gain can then be altered with the ATVs on ch 5 (gear) . The other cable marked rudd goes into the rudder channel ch 4, then the ATVs on the rudder channel control the" yure rate" ( speed of which the tail spins).

SL 560
Thanks for quick response...much appreciated. With the setup as you describe, is gyro mode 1 - Rate and mode- 2 HH now selectable with the gear Sw on the TX ? With a HH gyro, I dont expect to be using mode 1 (rate)..but its nice to know its there if neccessary !!!

Mode Selection CSM 560
Yes the gear switch will give you either mode 1 or 2 and if you like to keep your switches in a certain position, if not in the mode you want just reverse the gear channel...

The JR G410T is lighter than the futaba gyros and I have been thinkin' about getting one, but got no feedback when I had a post about it, Plus I am using a JR 10X so I think I will get one in a few weeks if you guys say it works good.
