hi everyone,

i got the similar size of 3dnt tank (tank in front of mainshaft) but im thinking to put it reverse position of clunk ( clunk point to the front) rather than the normal position (clunk position to main shaft)

is there any disadvantage for this setup?
anyway im using header tank behind the mainshaft and the clunk position to the tail. also im putting uniflow system

the only reason im doing this experiment is to avoid the clunk suck the air while doing continuous piroflip or chaos on 1/4 of tank (while all the gas push to the front)
but the otherhand if i put it reverse i think im going to have same problem while im doing big loop? thats why i put header tank to avoid this.

please give me an input before i put everything together. (i can put it back to normal position easy)

im using webra 91 engine with hatori 700

thanks for everybody input

your logic seems sound, the fuel will always be pushed outwards by centrifugal forces so it seems right that mounting the clunk that way would work best, do it, just make sure you have a header tank on there too, and you'll be able to see how well it's working by how much has been taken out of the header tank if you stop flying before the main tank is empty.

clunk
The clunk will follow the fuel as long as the line it is attached to is flexible enough,so I doubt it will help or hurt. Chris
