Only put about a half gallon through my Raptor 50 and i have noticed that the head block rock a small ammount on the main shaft, has anyone else noticed this?

loads of the raptors do this, an easy fix is to actually epoxy the headblock to the main shaft, personally it worries me so i changed mine to a metal centre headblock, but i've seen lots of raptors with the rocking headblock that fly just fine.

I have a raptor 30 and I am on my second plastic head. Needless to say I have a quick universal metal head that I am going to put on

well spotted janek, in that case there should not be any rocking of the headblock on the shaft at all, i'd ask your vendor about that.

This may sound stupid, but are you sure it's the headblock. If you're just gripping the head and rocking it back and forth, it could be the mainshaft bearings, or even the heli rocking on the skids. I've had people tell me to look at theirs and it wasn't the block but some thing else. But like stated before, if it's the SE it should already have the metal head block.

Actually it is not while i have been flying the heli, doing this as would check play on the normal plastic head assmebly, holding the main shaft steady and rocking the head on the shaft. Almost as if it is too loose.
