Just got home from Fall Fest a couple of hours ago. What a great weekend...once again Mike and the crew at Larks did an outstanding job. No rain this time just temps in the 70's and not a cloud in the sky. Plenty of flying space and lots of time to fly!!

As usual, if you left Sulphur hungry, it was your own fault. The cajun dinner Saturday night as well as the breakfast this morning kept us all "well rounded".

They had some interesting flying as well...a 1/4 Hot Air balloon for one plus a full scale Bell 47. LOads of great flying and lots to see. Add the great comraderie and you had a perfect weekend.

Thanks again Mike and I'll see ya'll in the spring.

What a great time. I was there on Saturday and had a blast! I won one of the Hummingbird V3s - most gracious thanks to Century for the mega giveaways and raffle.

I flew almost a gallon of fuel through my R50, which was petty amazing for such a packed event. I saw some of my favorite crowd and got to meet some new guys.

Mike Moss and those guys do it up right. Food was yummy and plentiful. After flying at LARKS you want to back to your club field and plow in under and start over. There's mega amounts of covered area with tables with power drops and a field house with real restrooms. Frequency control was well done. I felt pretty comfortable putting my bird in the air even with all the others that were up.

The auto contest was great - I had a beautiful score with 2 in the bullsye and one on the ring but I didn't even end up placing Gotta get back to work on those spot autos.

There were some beautiful scale birds in the scale contest. And the weather ROCKED!

There was and insane Predator Gasser all-fly at the end of the day with all the gassers in the air at the same time! I don’t know the count but it sounded like a lawn crew working the runway with a load of weedeaters.

Someone flew in with a beautifully restored full scale Bell 47G.

Many thanks and Congratulations go out to the LARKS crew for such a successful event and I really look forward to seeing you again at MayDay next year.

once again to pilots have made Fall Fest a great success.

the way i look at it is.

it's like cooking.

put in all of the right ingredients.

and then add a large helping of pilots to the mix and stir.

you can't go wrong.

i am looking forward to seeing everybody at mayday.
