Hi,

Here is the picture of my X-spec:

As you can see the radius block was positioned at the end of the Center Hub. Is this normal? I saw the x-spec of I3DM from his gallery and it has gap between radius block and center hub?

I3DM do you use the 195mm hole in the main mast or the 185mm? because your x-spec head looks higher than my X-spec.

Thanks a lot.

if you use the 185mm hole, what you
are seeing is correct. There is only a mm or
2 of distance between the radius block and the
bottom of the center hub

Hi
The manual does not say the exact distance like the EVO manual does (3mm). Wouldn't it be easier just to mount radius block 1 or 2mm from the center hub?

Just run the collective servo to the limit moving the swash up, and set the radius block to match the washout. Then, you will have the maximum pin engagement at the other extreme.

ok
So you have to have the servos mounted then to do that. I guess I have to wait with that.

If you´re using the upper mast hole just put the radius block up towards the center hub.
Shouldnt be any problems at all.

'Hm now I just have to find out where to connect the GV1 sensor to the Jazz80 ESC.

Hi
I am using the 185mm hole. I figured I could just push it against the center hub, and when I get all the electronic see if works. The manual just seems to make it more difficult than it is.

The question now is, should I wait for GY611 and Futaba 9255 servos

Put it on against the head block for now, and then when you have the servos in, adjust accordingly. If you have it too high, and run a large collective range, the washout can drop off the pins, which gets really interesting in flight . . .

Hey gid01,

i use the 195mm hole, with the longer (10mm longer) rods, and the pin block 10mm under the main hub. if you are to use the 185mm holes, the block should be right against the hub.

hope i could be of assistance !

Thanks I3DM, anyway you should assist me with this, because you know why? You are the reason why I decided to buy X-spec over Raptor 90 SE. But I made no mistake here, I like X-spec a lot .
