Just got my high cyclic center hub in and noticed something. Is the guide pin removable??? Because it's facing the opposite direction

EDIT Nevermind, I'm an idiot!!! Just figured it out!

I'm not sure I understand; do you mean that the pin is facing up, instead of down ?

I can't be sure ... it's been a while since I installed that upgrade, but, it seems to me that the pin is in a collar and that collar is reversable. The bolt locates it relative to the collar ... I think.

The high cyclic hub allows the timing to be adjusted and thus the pin/ring can be moved. This can be a good thing or bad thing depending on how it is set.

I will admit that I'm not the best at doing it. What I have learned from the local FAI pilot (these are your timing gurus) is to set it so that the pin lines up with the swash plate ball and the pivot point of the blade. (I hope I'm describing this correctly). You will know if you are off in timing as it results in control interactions, i.e. you pull up for a loop and the helicopter wants to roll to one side. The JR 10X actually has a swash timing mix built in.
Perhaps someone else looking in can explain the setup better.

this damn part is for the birds!!!
Maybe I'm not doing it correctly, but I have been into this for a while now. But the links are rubbing at full left aileron, I can't get past -8 without the swash plate hitting it's limits. I could get a lot better pitch range out of my regular hub!!!!!
