hi guys,

What is broken when you crash a rap90? I have a metal mainrotor hub and a metal flybar arm.

Hi Nando,

latest crash from me with my raptor 90 STD needed...

back plastik frame
front plastik frame
skits
tail
taildrive
new lower bearingholder ( bent like never seen before )
tailstruts
fins
headertank
copple links

This due one mishappend autorotation, the blades stopped spinning due one bad input, tryied to recover, but the blades cut the tail off, all i could do was cutting the engine and let the raptor fall from 100 meter high.

The prize without blades was 108 Euro, some parts i had already

Its depents how bad you crash at the moment, i had crashes in the past for 50 Euro without blades.

The last crash was one off the worst i ever had, i tought for a moment to dismantel the raptor for spare parts, buts its look always harder than real, thats what i like on the raptors

Regards

Chris

Hey Gerard,

i'll keep my raptors to try new stuff and fly without fear, i know myself... after a wile i'll will go even harder than with the raptors, this happends also with my millenium 2

I do nightflying now with 1 of the 2 raptors i own and have alot off fun with it.

The fury is sponsered.. crashcost included, thats the deal we made.

A friend owns a fury extreem, i did some flying with this one, its flies great and feels lighter on the sticks to, i know the crashcost is differend, we all crash sooner ore later, but its more fun to fly with.

So... we will see

Raptors are great helies and still love them, and will keep them.

Regards

Chris

Ok, one more crash list:

- Tail boom (obviously )
- Boom support (only one side, not always broken)
- Torque tube - if you are very lucky, it may survive (happened to me on the last crash)
- Tail control rod (might be able to straighten it)
- Tail control guides (at least some of them)
- Fins (one of them most of the time)
- Landing gear is easily broken
- Lower plastic frame - although I believe this is not so much an issue with the R90 because it got the carbon ground plate
- Flybar everytime
- Linkage in the head sometimes

+ one random extra part which you haven't stocked in advance

If you hit the ground upright and are using the c-spec ps you can add the pump to the list.
