I hereby present to you a free (almost) tool to assist you in the process of creating your own sceneries.

With this tool you can change the sun position and elevation, and you can also change the helicopter "At your feet"- position. In addition to this, you can adjust the "sizing" factor to make the helicopter size appear more realistic in proportion to your own panorama.

You can also change the name of the panorama bitmap that Reflex will look for when you load the scenery. You will have to change the filenames of the panorama and the _1a-bitmap manually, though.

I make no guarantees, and I am giving the tool away. All I ask is that you send me an e-mail in return, or make comments in this thread.

Some more information can be found in the readme-file that comes with the program.

Here's a screenshot:

I don't guarantee anything, and you use the program at your own risk.

Regards
-Øyvind

Great work with the tool!

Can you let us know how you made sense of the wlp file using a hex editor? I too would like to fiddle!

Thank you for your comments!

r1gga, fiddling with the wlp in a hex editor is time consuming, and requires some knowledge of low-level computer stuff. If you are a complete beginner in this area, you will have a real hard time making sense of anything.
