os 91 c-spec ps stock, or the best is the os 91 c-spec ps with cline regulator, omi modded carburator, and viper head, that combo beats all others. or the ys 91 is a good engine out of the box too.

Everyone always runs the OS or YS in the 90,
Why do you never hear of a Thunder Tiger powered Rappy 90? Surely they would work at least as good as the TT 50 does in the 50 v2???
Just curious?

I have the YS 91. It's a great engine very easy to work with. My buddy has the OS C-SPEC. The OS has given us lots of difficulty.

All of my other helis (3) have an OS engine, but I'm real happy I went with the YS 91 this time!

TT 90
Ade

Do you remember what gear ratio you ran on the TT 90?

I have one in a Raptor 60 with the TT 680 Carbon blades. It was a used engine and doesn't seem to have much punch. The helicopter really flies nice and smooth, but after I fly one of my Raptor 50's I just put it back in the closet. I replaced the stock TT carb with an OS 3 needle carb and the engine seems to run smooth but no get up and go. I am running the 7.91 ratio. It may be too much for that ole tired TT 90 engine.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

My two cents..

TT 90, mod needle, 8.45 gearing...Works fine, lasts a long time.
