the past weekend my raptor suffered a crash, on inverted position i ran out of power =S , couldnt level it on time and went nose to the grown.
the parts that must be replaced are: main blades , spindle , flybar , boom , boom supports , and main frame. i was thinking on upgrade my machine to a 50 . then what are the nesesary stuff to convert my raptor 30 v1 into a 50?

i was thinking on buy a crash kit from maverrikk (that comes with a set of carbons main blades, boom , boom supports , flybar , main mast and i think a V2 spindle) , and like the belt , main gear and engine mount.

well , any advises on what to do will be apreciated.

hey
definilty upgrade to a 50 if u have the extra dough....you would also ahve to get a new engine for a 50 (OS 50)
the other option is (definitly requires some extra bucks) is to buy a 50 and repair the 30 so u have 2!
the advantage to that option is that when u crash one then you can just exchange or fly the other one....no need to wait for parts!
waiting to crash mine (would like to but at the same time wouldn't) and can't wait to get a 50!

go for the 50 and you will never be sorry. i converted both of mine. after flying my first 50 had to convert my other one. i converted both of mine to a v2 50 . Call heliproz and they will set you up with what you need.

be careful about the V1/V2 thing...

If you get a V2 spindle then you need to change a lot of the head components (thrust bearings etc) as it is a different diameter to the V1.

It may be cheaper to get a new 50V2 kit than to convert it all from a 30V1..??

I just got donee converting mine..I have always flown 30 size ships....After my first flight with the 50 i will never fly a 30 again..i could never get autos with a 30....My 50 autos sweet.......You"ll be glad you did....btw. I am still running my engine real rich and cannot believe the power...Can not wait until I start leaning it a bit...The 50 is way more stable then the 30,,,,, imo
