I am really enjoying my Evo! This past weekend I took out the brass weights from the paddles to let her rip and had a blast flying it! It has a nice response now and rolls and flips just right for my present skills. I had so much fun and built up so much confidence during the weekend that on the last flight I decided to do my first auto. I was amazed how easy it was! The TT600mm blades must be good for autos, she just leisurely decended down with plenty of reserve at the end and I put her down gently after hovering for a second or two inches above the ground. NICE!

When I first did my first auto with the evo I was surprised at how nice it came down. I was also using TT 600mm blades.

I LOVE MY EVO!!!

I have been doing some auto work with TT 600mm and V2 Blades on my EVO. There is a real noticeable difference in the two. I found the V-blades don't like to auto very well. (Like a brick!) The TT blades were better. I'm used to the way my Freya autos, so I was expecting more out of the EVO.

Still a lot of fun, but nothing makes up for shear blade length and cranking RPM when you hit the hold switch!!!!!!

Fly it like you stole it!

I had done 1 auto with my Hawk Sport (TT550 blades) before I started flying the Evo 50. I got it down OK but I couldn't believe how much nicer the Evo auto'd. The extra 50mm per blade made a big difference. I have done hundreds of autos since I started flying the Evo (late June) and I've only had 2 that were bad. One I landed a little too far away and tipped it over (no damage, HS pretty much all bled out) and one I dropped the tail and broke one of the tail blade grips. I just the way the Evo 50 flies/autos!
