Are there any pilots or clubs in Flagstaff, AZ ? I am planning on moving there and would like to hook up with some of the local pilots. I will be building my own runway and heli pad on my property but I really enjoy flying with a group. I will miss my San Diego friends when I go and hope they will come and vist me in Flagstaff.

I live in Flagstaff and as far as I know i'm the only one flying helis in this town. Let me know when you get to town and maybe we can fly if the weather warms up. I was out this weekend and burnt a gallon of fuel but Sunday it turned cold and windy I was done by 10:00am. Flags a great place, are you coming out for work or school?

Moving there because I am tired of California , been here for 30 years almost and want to live with some space around me. Plus the housing costs in Flagstaff are a lot less than here in San Diego. Time to cash out and buy elsewhere, been looking at a few properties and plan to drive there and view some on Nov 12th to 14th . If I have a time I will look you up while I am there.

Thanks for the reply and I look forward to flying with you.

Well its a done deal now. I purchased a house in Downey Park on Crystal Ln. Will be moving the first week on January. Will miss being able to fly all year long as I do here in San Diego.

Joe K can you say NUCLEAR WINTER
JoeK At last count only 7 registured heli pilots in the entire wild wild west "ARIZONA" O-Yes make that 8 when you get here. What ever it is that you might need you had better bring it with you.
I am even deeper into the darkness. I am in Show Low AZ. And I once saw a picture of a heli but it wasn't real clear as it had been passed around and I could hardly make it out when it got to me.
They say I might get to go home this month if I keep agreeing with them

Well thats not good. There is just so much nice space to fly in there. I got 2.5 acres I can fly on as long as I make piece with the folks around me. My State Farm agent tells me there is a RC group there called Flagstaff Flyers, she said there were a couple of heli pilots there.
