Does anyone know how MicroHeli recommends attaching their belcrank clevis to the pushrod?

Look at this picture here:
http://www.microheli.com/mhshop/pro...products_id=125

You will no doubt notice that in the upper right picture, there appears to be a plastic white tube around the pushrod, which then fits into the clevis. Does anyone know what that is?

Does anyone have a link for directions on how to fasten the pushrod *correctly*?

8AxleED,

I have the same setup in my heli. Do you have carbon pushrod or metal? If you look at my gallery (microheli bellcrank not installed yet) you will see that I have only one metal threaded end on my linkage. The other end was a hard press into a old hirobo linkage along with some CA.

When I installed the microheli linkage, I pulled off the hirobo linkage ( damn that puppy was on there! ). Then I put the carbon rod into my drill and turned down that end until it was a hard press into the microheli plastic linkage. Then I used a little CA and pressed it together. That way the tail end of the linkage is light as can be. The other end at heli is still threaded for the needed adjustments.

Or I think that same plastic link can be threaded onto your existing metal rod.

It is a little goofy link, but sure as hell is light.

Not quite descriptive enough to repeat it, but I get the idea. You just made something fit. It would be nice if there were a link, or the inside diameter of that clevice was known, etc..

The inside of the clevis looks like it is barbed to push onto a threaded rod. Do you agree? thats how I used it, except I added glue to" cover my ass".
