hi guys,

do anyone have experience with MAH 110 mm and V 105 mm tail blades? What are the best tailblades do you think? Are the MAH's good for highspeed backward flights (and autos)?

It is very hard to discern the performance differances of these tail blades unlike that of the main blades. I believe that a large tail area does help when tails are being pushed to their absolute limit. Truth, both brands work however but having more blade area negates having to run higher tail speeds. There has to be a balance between tail area and tail rpm to reach an effect performance range. How you choose to get there is a personal choice. My personal perference are the MAH tail blades. They are designed just like the main blades are with the dual taper airfoil. This design philosophy is followed through to the tail blades. The most basic reason to taper any blade is to reduce drag. The MAH and V tail blades share two very important design features which render them virtual equals, dual tapered and very stiff.
