Isaiahsdad,
I am a stay at home dad as well and work from home part time. I have two boys (3 1/2 and 2) and one more boy on the way (wife is 6mths along). It is the most challenging, frustrating, and rewarding thing I have ever done. BTW.....my boys absolutely love Halloween. I think when they are this age they get their money's worth out of their costumes.....they want to wear it every day.

I think greg you will atest to this one small fact as well, we dont give enough credit to our wifes when they stay home and raise our kids either. I will bet a lot of dads would fold if they had to do what our wifes do and what we do now. I mean come on now, I had to call the heath department in to help with one of my sons diapers once. But seriously, being a stay at home dad is a tough job to be sure. I have a lot more respect for the moms in the world for having done it for so many years without complaining or expecting any reward. I now see that the love that you get from your kids, is reward enough. And as far as wearing the costume every day, I went to NASCAR.Com to get his costume, I had the option to order an actual costume or the pajamas that look like the costume so I got the p.j.s and killed 2 birds with one stone. Now he gets to wear his costume just about every night. And in his NASCAR bed with the checker flag behind it, this kid is in his glory every night when he goes to bed. (The victory circles in the mornings, every morning, are a bit rough though)

This is the time of year when kids look forward to all the holidays. Halloween is the start of something big, you get to eat a TON of candy and dress up all the same. If anyone knocks your kid for their costume, it shows real class. These are the people who should go away. It's about forgetting the world and having a good time. It's all about the kids for these times they will remember forever.
