Gang,

I was curious if anyone knows the recommended running temp for the OS 32 on my Raptor 30? I was told you want it to be 220 degrees max, but it sure does a lot of smoking at that temp like it is running really rich... Anyone know is this is accurate?

Thank you,
Fusion

I ran mine around 200. You should also tune it by putting your finger on the back plate and doing climb outs to see how the transition is. Alot of smoke could be the fuel you are using and not just running rich.

If you keep doing the same thing…...you’re going to get the same results!

Hi.

I would love to see a video of you climbing out whilst putting your finger on the backplate.

225 is a very safe temp for the .32

OS 32 Running Temp.
I was trying to figure out the same thing... finger on the backplate?

It seems to climb fine from a hover. This may be my stupidity, but isn't "unused fuel" and running rich the same thing?

Thanks,
Fusion

I use a temp gun to verify wghat I have done by simply listening to the motor's sound, looking at the amount of smoke, and determining how it flies. . 225 is fine. 200 is a little rich for this motor.

Best Regards, Dario

I hover it around for a bit, set it down, and then hit it with a temp gun and it runs about 220ish. But it smokes a lot...
