Hi all,

Thanks

Another vote for the Kontronik Jazz.

CC has their helicopter messed up at the present time so I would stay away from them for a while. The word is that CC will have new helicopter out early next year so I would not get a Phoenix until then.

I have a Phoenix 45 that is about 1 ½ years old and it has fairly good helicopter software and works well with the Hacker C40-8L. If you do have an old Phoenix ESC do NOT upgrade the software until they get the helicopter software fixed.

Sounds like the Kontronik is the way ahead. I take it you guys are using the Jazz 40-6-18 ?

Remember you can use curves (programed on your transmitter) with the CC phoenix. It is the governor mode that is not working right.

I like the CC products because of their support after the sale. If you have a problem with the Kontroniks it has to go back to Germany.

That said. Kontroniks does have a loyal following.

I just bought a Jazz for my HV Eolo setup today. I tried the CC45 and had it go into cut out a few times which wasn't all that much fun. So I upgraded to a CC60 and it worked OK but the soft start wasn't all that nice, but bearable. The only problem I had was the Eolo would go into failsafe every so often, so I re-routed the antenna so it was pointing straight out the front away from my carbon boom. I thought this had fixed my problems until yesterday when it locked out again. So instead of crashing my $3000 heli I opted to try the Jazz, I remember reading a while back that the CC ESC's may have been causing some sort of interference but I'm not sure. Anyway I thought the $200 Jazz was worth a try.

BTW I'm using a 9Z radio with R149DP receiver so I'm assuming they are not causing my lockouts.
