Strange...

TT's instructions say to make the two push rod's 105mm in length. Mine are much shorter than that!

I ignored the instructions, and used first principles: link perpendicular to arm, links same length etc. Works well. Looks cool, although less bling factor with the plain silver ones.

I put that on mine couple months ago, works well and definately evens out some of the stresses on the servo.

Hi All,

You guys that have fitted the push pull elevators setups to Raptor 30/50's how far out do you have the ball on the servo horn?

Cheers

I put mine so that the distance from the centre bolt to the ball on the pushpull was the same distance on the servo output arm

Theoretically that would be correct, particularly at limits of travel of the push/pull lever and servo lever only. However, if you connect the entire system, you'll see there's not a lot of rotation. If you bring the balls on the servo lever further in, you'll be able to use higher servo ATVs, and thus not lose any resolution.

Try it, the system won't bind. I went through similar steps myself.

Cheers

Yes I second that I started off equal distance to that of the P-P arm then found that at full throw the the rods where 3-4 mm off. So using the Futaba long double ended arm I have gone in to the third hole so at the end stops the balls still line up, if you see what I mean.

I liked it that much on my sixty, I got 2 more for my 50's check out SMC.
