Blade grips
Those particular blade grips were made that way ( screws on the underside ) for a cleaner look. Sorry to hear that you weren't happy with them. Of course Helihobby will take them back.

Yeah, I talked to the guy who does machining of those parts for them, and he said, "They "looked" good like that....but looks are not important when it comes to a rotor blade flying off and hitting you in the face because the screws are upside-down....you just don't do that on aircraft...that's not the way it works..And besides, the nice counter-sunk screws look good anyway.....facing up!.
Heli hobby made good and took them back..and the Machinist guy(I think his name was Sean) said he;d make them proper the next run...I personally know 2 people that have sent them back already 'cause of their up-side-down condition.

yup...that's the hub...got the bearings today...perfect fit, everything works well...so I guess everything everyone was saying is unfounded....besides the problem with getting the bearings, the peice works just fine...no problems. I"m waiting for those light weight paddles now.

If you would be so kind as to shoot me an e-mail, or let me know here when the blade grips are ready for sale, I would sure appreciate it. I'm running out of options to put on my heli!! What to do now??...looking into one of those trex's...I am on the "notify me when available" list for the hot rod trex set-up you guys are sellin'!!

The next batch of the blade grips will be the new ones they are being made right now so we should get them soon. As for the Trex it is an awesome heli, it goes together easily, setup is a breeze, and flys so smooth. No exact ETA on when we will be getting more trex's in but it will be updated on our website as soon as they arrive.

Nikki as long as your on the forums here I was wondering .

What are you ( HeliHobby) doing about the people that have bad experinces with HeliHobby mainly bad products, returns or never receiving what they ordered. I think if your going to post about new products and other products. Then you should be able to answer the question/concerns that some people have had here about upgrade parts sells and other products HH sells.
It's not only here on RR but on RCGroups and RC Universe people have complained about how shotty your customer service is towards some people.

Also why does HH copy products from other vendors ?

Problems..
The only problem I had with HH was getting bearings, but they got them to me as soon as they got them..unfortunatley, the bearings were what I needed to make my tail rotor housing work, and in the time it took to get them, everyone seemed to be calling the housing "Junk" or "A copy"...but as soon as the bearings came in, it all went together like buttah...so no complints from me.
As far as customer service goes, Nikki has been good to me anyway.
Bob.

Nikki,

Is the tail gear case which previously had the bearings falling off because the bearings were set up wrongly produced from Helihobby or produced from MicroHeli.com? I saw you posted that that tail gear case is from MicroHeli. Is that true? Plus the bolts on that tail gear case is way too bigger than the MicroHeli screws. I had a MicroHeli tail gear case for Hornet and one for Shogun, they ain't that big the bolts!

Are you sure those are from MicroHeli.com?

Just wonder ...

Hi Nikki,

Since we are on that subject, then we might as well ask a couple of other questions.....

On your website:
http://www.helihobby.com/html/zoom_400_upgrades.html

It says that the CNC Precision Blade Grips are a "Micro-Heli precision part". The same also goes for the CNC Precision main T-Hub.

Yet, when I look at the MicroHeli website:
http://www.microheli.com/mhshop/index.php?cPath=77

Their shogun upgrades don't show these parts as being anything they even make.

What gives??

Hobbybob,

Maybe you don't care but we want them to clarify if they do carry MicroHeli products like they stated in the product description.

Just like you pay 20,000usd for a Toyota and you came to the dealer and got some of the Chivo-Hivo whatever brand car from China that looks exactly the same as the Toyota. You are so novice to see the difference thanks to their excellent copy skill but you and the dealer says that one is made by Toyota, and only find out when one of your wheels falls off the axles and you look back in the manual and kicking yourself, damn it, that's a Chivo-Hivo!

Nikki, are you there?
