My first time so bear with me. First off, I'm running a Berg 6 GIII. It comes factory programmed in fail-safe HOLD mode ON.....AND in failsafe mode OFF. I'm guessing the fail-safe HOLD mode is the same thing as "fly-wheel HOLD mode"? The manual says a couple differnent things.
Based on the Berg instruction manual..... Fly-wheel HOLD mode is: "All servo signals are held hard in position last good signal seen before signal loss" (I'm not sure I understand this feature and feeling I want it OFF, especially in the begining)
Failsafe ON mode is: "Upon loss of signal, servo outputs will be held for 2 seconds before driving to preprogrammed positions. (I'm sure I do not want this ON currently)
SO.....I tried turning the Fail-safe OFF/HOLD. I did as the instructions state. That is to place a jumper (blck plug) on CH2, a servo in CH1, a jumper on CH5, Turn TX on and Turn RX on (I plugged the MS116 into CH3 then plugged in the LiPo for power). The servo is then supposed to rotate signaling, what ever that means because nothing happened?? Can anyone help me here....
I decided to start reading my MS116 instructions. Under programming it reads the FIRST power-on must be performed with the throttle stick set to maximum. WELL I already put power into the MS116 with out the throttle stick at max since I needed to be sure all my servo horns were straight. SO what should I do now?? I did what the instructions said. I heard NO melody AND NO BEEP. Not even one??
I don't know what to do here guys.... Hope someone can help....
