Raja!
What a funny coincidence!

I was just thinking about you.

I hadn't done anything with RC helicopters since about 2005--I got involved in another "wierd" hobby --- flyball.

Anyway, I didn't get into drone flying, since, for me, it was as much about getting everything to work as it was flying. If one could just go out and buy something, that didn't seem like so much fun.

But, my wife expressed interest in getting some drone video footage of our New England trip next week. I said YES! and ordered a DJI Mavic Pro.

Just completed my first flight about 1 hour ago.

Scary!! Super easy to fly, but a touch of a button on the app can make unexpected things happen!

Like tapping apply thinking that meant save the waypoints to a mission, but finding out that meant fly it. At a fast speed!

Letting my heart slow down for a while...

10) battery got low, gv-1 throttled back to let me know (failsafe).
What ? You didn't have a Raja generator on board ?
When my battery lead broke while in flight I didn't even know it and kept flying. When I landed and shut the engine down, then every thing stopped working. Your generator saved my bird from total disaster.
Hope to see you this December.

Yes, here is a picture of a generator mounted on my heli, no longer mine.
Messy wiring during some sort of mods.

Pictures
Here is a picture I just built last night for a fellow to go out today. Its a dual output generator system. Also seen is the whiplash generator mount which makes installation on the new Whiplash V2 gassers plug and play.

This is a basic one, you can remote charge indicator LEDs, fuel tank light, and/or a battery monitor to the system. Built mine in 2004 to go on that 1005, been on it since then even though I've upgraded it to a V2 version along with a headlight and nav lights.
