I don't accept anything for free. I keep buying and changing from equipment to equipment, as I see fit. When something comes out I try it. If I like it better then what I currently use, I dump what I am running and buy the next pieces in multiples.

I was running all 601's and got rid of them in favor of the 560's. When another gyro system better then the 560 comes along, they get dumped as well. Right now the 560's are the ticket to me, as a practical matter for tail rotor control. Next year there will probably be other stuff even better. Many MFG's are getting hungry for RC business now, and are beginning to make some pretty inovative equipment.

I also ran a lot of the JR 10X'ers and 9Z's. I changed from these systems not long ago, to other radios. Ones again, as a practical matter to me I found systems that worked much better then these did.

As far as compitition goes the more companies which get involved in making RC equipment, the better this equipment will get. And it will get cheaper and more reliable as well. I am a bit surprized it took so long for some of these MFG's to get in gear, and produce good alternitive equipment. Stuff which works good, and competes directly with the bigs.

I am waiting for Krause and Bennet to make their new helicopter. If they pull it off I think it might be a home run for all of us. Time will tell.

I just put a 560SL in my Raptor 50V2, and I must say:
It is for sale now, i will switch back to a 401 (leave the summum 601 in my 90).

It must be me but I don't like all the CSM's I had (360, 540, 560) I will stick with Futaba in the future.

So who want to buy this 560SL from me?

I'll make it easy and equitable for both of us. I have a 401 I'll trade you for the 560. Send me a P.M. and we will work it out.

Genltlemen,
May I throw the JR 500T into this mix??? I do not have personal experience with it yet (soon, on my Predator Gasser), but reports thus far are performance close to if not on par with the GY601 for the price of the GY401.

Comments?
