Eurylokhos,

Yea, guess I did miss the save. Did see the ION flying, was really awsome, outstanding flying as well. Only reason I had thot he had refered to me in the vid was cause a couple of my friends said I scared the crap out of some folks with a death spiral.

Anyhow, was hoping somebody had gotten a pic of me cutting the grass, was first time I had the nerve to go that low in front of so many people hehehe.

Btw, who was that guy that was doing the tail in, nose in and knife edge tic-tocs? Was very nice to watch.

Quick one
Here's another quick vid of Jerry's blade scrape and the save with the Ion. When I have more time, I'll redo the save with it zoomed in. As it is, the Ion is pretty small in my video of the save, I wasn't expecting him to do that, and was catching him doing circles. I'll put together a short video of all the good stuff later. Does anyone know who the guy flying the Raptor on the last flightline was? He flew a couple of times, as I recall, his canopy was painted a couple of bright colors, and he was wearing a red hat, and blue pants. I have some awesome footage of him flying, too. The glow helis look much better on video because of the smoke trails...

Video is about 4.5 megs, and is encoded in Quicktime 6.5

Who is who
The man with the red hat and blue pants was Eric he also known as obsessive on RR. If you were looking at a yellow millenium cornster doing the knife edge pumps that was me.

Great, thanks. I wanted names for the credits. The only one I don't have is the guy with the camera ship. I think I have some video of you with your millenium too.

yea, saw you flinging your bird, was some outstanding flying dude. Very smooth, I only wish I was near as smooth as most of the folks out there. The other one was a red fury or xcell I think, not sure, but was 90 size, he was really tearing it up as well. Was really a pleasure to see so many excellent pilots in one place flying, was having just as much fun watching you all fly as I was flying, great day.

I really did enjoy my slice of humble pie tho, helped me realize how far I still have yet to go. It's ok tho, once I get a full year under my belt (8 months to go) I think I'll be cleaned up some. You guys definately gave me something to aspire to. Also couldn't have been a nicer, fun group of folks in one place.

I honestly hate to admit I flew planks for 15yrs after hearing that ranting post, lol. But after meeting you all, I can't possibly see how this persons attitude should keep me away from the club. So I will still be looking to join the Lazy Loopers flying club.

Anyhow, was great fun, look forward to flying with you all again.

Wow, I didn't think it was that close when I saw it, but the photo shows it was a squeaker. Nice save Jerry.

So is the title of that photo 'Ion in the Grass'?
