Ladies and Gents,
Just wanted to repost to get you all to check out our supper raffle. The Sacramento Red Barons is losing it's flying site in approximately 15 months. In an effort to raise funds we are having a supper raffle fund raiser (see http://www.runryder.com/t88389p1/
this is the original post that answers lots of questions). The Sacramento Red Barons Charter #151 was established in 1967 and we really want to keep this club alive.
The prize list grows everyday and the vendors continue to show support for this cause.
The latest additions are:
Raptor 30 from Zoom's Hobbies
Futaba 9 CHP from Hobbico
Viper Jet from Tamjets
Of course the main Heli prize is still Fury Extreme 3D with the YS91 and a custom painted canopy from LGM Guitars.
We realize times are tough and the economy is not the best, but if you can part with a few bucks you can help save one of the oldest AMA Charter clubs in the country. I would hope you all can sympathize with us and give us a hand.
I would also like to thank the folks out there that have purchased tickets (if you have note recieved your stubs, they are on the way!! We had the Gold Coast Jet Event this weekend, so I have been really busy) the stubs will go out tomorrow.
To see a full list of prizes please visit Sacramento Red Barons Home Page
and click on the Supper Raffle tab.
FYI -- We have a tetnative location, next month we are supposed to sign a provisional lease that will allow us to get an enviornmental impact reports completed and surveyed for grading. Fortunately for the SRB, we have members that can perform these two operations free of charge. Our next big hurtles will be grading and asphault.
Once again, Thanks Again for the support the SRB appreciates it.
