when you say top and bottom right, you mean it needs to sit with the top up so when I look at it I can see the dial?

I don't have a gy240, so I don't know which side should be up. All I meant was that any gyro has one side that should be pointed straight up. As long as you have that side up, it doesn't matter if you move the gyro from front to back or rotate it in any direction. From the pictures I have seen of the GY240, it looks like the side with the gain adjustment should be on top.

Or bottom for that matter, it's the axis of rotation that's important and that runs through perpedicular to that face. Double sided tap either on top or underneath of the radio tray, whichever is easiest.
