Go to myHOME and under the Last Post column for Subscribed Forums and Subscribed Topics, clink the UNSUBSCRIBE link for the forum or topic which wish to unsubscribe from. You also have the ability to unsubscribe from a topic on the actual topic page. At the bottom of the topic page, your subscribed topic will have a Topic Subscribed  X  link. To unsubscribe from all topics, go to myHOME, click on Subscribed Topics then select
Unsubscribe From All Topics.
Mark Subs Read and Mark New Read

Mark Subs Read is a link that marks all your subscription posts as being read, clearing NEW symbols that point to unread subscription posts.

If you have new subscriptions since your last visit, click on the NEW SUBS link at the top right of the homepage. This will take you to your new subscriptions. After you are done reviewing your new subscriptions, chose Mark Subs Read.

You can also view new subscriptions by clicking the START HERE link at the top right of the homepage. Then select Subscriptions. After you are finished reading all new posts under your subscriptions, select Mark Subs Read.

Mark New Read is a link that marks all new posts as being read, clearing all NEW symbols on the site.

To mark all topics read, click the Mark New Read link displayed in the bottom right corner under START HERE or View New Posts.

Under your Subscriptions in myHOME, all new and unread activity since your last visit is marked with NEW in front of the topic title. You can also denote new and unread activity in the Last Post column. The Last Post category with a yellow background denotes new activity since your last visit or since you've marked Mark Subs Read and/or Mark New Read. A red background in the Last Post column denotes the topic's last post is more than a day old.

**Member default automatically marks posts read after 30 minutes of inactivity. To change this setting go to myHome - Edit Options.
Email Notifications

There are Six Items to Consider to manage your RR email notifications.

Email notifications are sent to RR members to notify them of new Private Messages (PMs) and/or new Subscriptions. RunRyder emails will arrive in your inbox from the 'RR <no reply> Notification' (apache@rc.runryder.com) for subscriptions and as 'RR PM Email Reply' (pm.12345.123456@rc.runryder.com) for PMs.

By default, email notifications for new Private Messages (PMs) and/or new Subscription activity are sent five minutes since your last activity on the site. You can change the frequency of email notifications by going to myHome - Edit Options (Messaging, Subscriptions & Notification) and changing the waiting period for PM Notification, Forum Notification, and/or Topic Notification. The longer the waiting period, the less frequent an email notification will be sent.

To prevent yourself from receiving notifications about new posts in a topic you created or post replied to, uncheck the box next to Subscribe to This Topic under the Options category before you Submit New Topic or Submit Reply.

Please note: RunRyder does not send spam or unsolicited emails and does not sell or give out members's email addresses ever.
Disable Email Notifications

There are Six Items to Consider to manage your RR email notifications.

If you use the personal messaging (PM) system or are subscribed to a topic, you cannot disable email notifications. You can change the frequency of email notifications by going to myHome - Edit Options (Messaging, Subscriptions & Notification) and changing the waiting period for PM Notification, Forum Notification, and/or Topic Notification. The longest waiting period between when an email notification of new activity is sent to you and the last time you were active on the site is one month.

If you do not use the personal messaging (PM) system and are not subscribed to any topics you can disable email notifications. To do this, go to myHome - Edit Options (Messaging, Subscriptions & Notification) and select no for both Enable Private Messaging? and Have "Subscribe To This Topic" checked by default when posting?. Then click Submit Modifications. Lastly, go to myHOME and under Subscribed Topics choose to Unsubscribe From All Topics.

Following the steps above will ensure that email notifications will not be sent to you.
Missing Email Notifications

RunRyder members are automatically subscribed to topics they create and post reply to. To make sure you are notified via email of new posts under a topic you create or post reply to, make sure that the box next to Subscribe To This Topic under the Options category is checked before you Submit New Topic or Submit Reply.

If you accidentally uncheck the box, which could be the case if you are missing email notifications, you can manually subscribe to the topic you are involved/interested in by clicking the Subscribe to This Topic link at the bottom of the topic's page. After you are subscribed, you will receive email notifications when there is new activity in the topic.

You can adjust the frequency you receive subscription email notifications under myHome - Edit Options (Messaging, Subscriptions & Notification).
